Many years ago (around 1972) I published a cartoon that looked like this: A man was reading a newspaper. You could see his facial expression and he looked very surprised. The headline of the newspaper read (I am editing one word) " Sh-t Cures Cancer!"
In 1970's, it seemed that there was a new cancer cure every week, which would then be dismissed and replaced with the latest medical "cure."
Now 36 odd years later, there is still no blanket cure for cancer. The cancer rate for all cancers is stable (this means that the percentage of the population being diagnosed with cancer remains steady). And there has been a some decline in cancer deaths from some types of Cancer.
Here is an example in non-smoking, European men, aged 36-69, in 1965, the death rate due to cancer was 2.30 per 1,000. In 2000, the death rate was 2.20 per thousand. While the trend is in the right direction, a decline of .1 over years is a disappointment. Has medicine and the drug companies failed us?
What can you do yourself to prevent cancer? The drug companies want your money, not necessarily your good health. You have to take personal responsibility for your health.
Eat organic - the studies on good nutrition state over and over again that whole foods prevent cancers.
Remove toxins from your water - both what you drink and what you bathe in. (See blog entry about Filtering Your Water.
Relax, play and laugh - reducing stress helps to maintain your body's PH alkaline - preventing the growth of cancer cells.
Mostly change your lifestyle to remove poisons from your home and environment and eat real foods - not packaged foods. These are the steps that can help you from being on the wrong side of the statistics.
So feces does not really cure cancer, but the medical and drug companies aren't doing the job as well as they should either.
Curing Diseases Through Your Diet
Every week, news stories reveal that taking a particular herb, food or supplement can have a positive effect on our health. Many diseases can be reversed, controlled and cured if we change the way we eat or through other natural means.
Doesn't it make sense to learn how what we eat can help prevent and even cure such diseases. This blog is dedicated to providing such information directly and through valuable links and other resources.
