Curing Diseases Through Your Diet

Every week, news stories reveal that taking a particular herb, food or supplement can have a positive effect on our health. Many diseases can be reversed, controlled and cured if we change the way we eat or through other natural means.

Doesn't it make sense to learn how what we eat can help prevent and even cure such diseases. This blog is dedicated to providing such information directly and through valuable links and other resources.

Please, Don't Drink the Tap Water or Shower In It!

Every health advise you will receive, whether it is to cure a disease or lose weight will include such words as, "Drink plenty of water." What is rarely added is the advice: "And make sure that water is healthy to drink!"

Unfortunately, for Americans, the water that comes out of the taps in our homes is not healthy.

What is wrong with tap water? Plenty. First there is the Chlorine added to kill life, ie, bacteria. And then there is the Fluoride that is added to "prevent tooth decay." (The real reason is corporate greed.)

Chlorine and Fluoride are poisons. They are diluted to the point that your daily glasses of tap water do not kill you, out right. But think of the accumulated effect on your body having to deal with these two toxins, day after day, year after year. This is wasted bio-energy that could be used to keep you young, ward off diseases and prevent ill-health. And eventually, your body cannot cope with these poisons and you get sick. But these are just two of the deadly components of tap water...

Eighty of the 166 pollutants listed above are known to be above health safe levels. But can any of them be considered safe?

I could go on about how unsafe tap water and ground water is, but I think you get the point.

What can you do? Drink bottled water that has been properly filtered. Get a water distiller or reverse-osmosis machine to purify your drinking water. Put in a home filtering systems for your entire home.

SHOWERING IN TAP WATER - Your skin is the largest organ of your body. It loves to absorb things. In fact, many medications are now delivered through patches attached to the skin, which then absorbs the drug and delivers it to the bloodstream.

When you shower in tap water, you take in as many toxins as you would if you drank 8 glasses of tap water. One shower is not so bad, but how many showers or baths do you take in a year? Every time you bathe in tap water, you are slowly poisoning yourself.

What can you do? Get a shower filter for your shower which will remove most if not all of the contaminants. And/or get a filtering system for your complete water supply.

I have taken the liberty of placing two water filtering products on this page which I believe to be effective, but certainly do your research. THIS IS IMPORTANT.
