The Grinding Truth, Injured While Sleeping

There is a Cure for Bruxism...

Most people have heard of injuries caused by repeated stress activities - doing the same physical movement over and over again, day after day, can cause nerve and other tissue damage to occur.

This same problem can happen while you are sleeping! For example, do you grind your teeth when you are asleep?

Bruxism or teeth grinding is a real health concern. Bruxism is related to: • Painful teeth in the morning. • Your jaw hurts in the morning. • You feel pain around the upper jaw below the temples while eating. • Your teeth are flat and worn away. • You have unexplained chips on your teeth. • Your teeth are sensitive to cold and citrus. • You have constant headaches • You constantly wake up during the night.

Grinding one's teeth at night is nothing to take lightly. If you find that you are suffering from this problem and nothing you have done has stopped it. Don't give up.

Constipation is No Fun - Natural Remedies.

Constipation is a simple problem, but it should be taken seriously. Basically, constipation is a condition when you are having fewer bowel movements than you should be having. And it is not a laughing matter. Everyone experience constipation occasionally, but if you are experiencing extended periods of constipation your health is at risk.

It is known that constipation is responsible for many colon diseases such as hemorrhoids, colitis, diverticulosis, IBS or Irritable Bowel Syndrome, varicose veins, and possibly colon cancer. The origin of many diseases in the body can be traced to a constipated colon.

Generally, lack of exercise and an unhealthy diet are the culprits. What can you do if you suffer from constipation? There are many dietary changes you can make. Eat grapes for temporary and chronic relief! Drink dandelion tea! A teaspoon of good honey in a cup of warm water, taken each morning can lead to the relief of constipation.

If you experience constant bloating, heartburn and constipation on a regular basis, you can do something about it. For ways to correct these problems, I recommend Colon Cleanse Your Way To Better Health.

Canadians Told To Take Vitamin D

A hearty recommendation has been made by the Canadian Cancer Society to take Vitamin D supplements.

A recent study by researchers at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Md., found that people with higher levels of vitamin D when they entered the study had an impressive 72 per cent reduced risk of dying from colorectal cancer, compared to those with the lowest levels of vitamin D.

Our bodies use sunshine to manufacture Vitamin D. Due to the less overall sunshine in Canada, Canadians are less likely to produce the Vitamin D they need, thus the suggestion that all Canadians add Vitamin D supplements to their diet. American, too, may not be getting enough Vitamin D.

Once again, how we handle our diet, is shown to effect our health. Check with your doctor to see if you need to supplement your diet with Vitamin D. Don't go crazy about this, Vitamin D is not a magic bullet, but you do need to have enough of it in your system for good health.
